Ingredients:

7 slices of thick bacon
12 oz bag Campfire Maple Roasters
1 teaspoon salt
6 cups crispy rice cereal
1 teaspoon maple extract
2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:

In a large skillet over low heat, cook bacon until crisp, reserving 3 Tablespoons of bacon grease from pan.

Place cooked bacon on a stack of paper towels to drain, then cut into small bits.

Spray an 8 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

Add reserved bacon grease to a large saucepan over low heat.

Add marshmallows and salt and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and add crispy rice cereal, stirring until coated.

Using a wooden spoon sprayed with nonstick cooking spray (or your hands), dump the mixture into your prepared 8×8 pan and pat evenly to fill pan.

In a small bowl, combine 2 Tablespoons hot water with 1 teaspoon maple extract. Whisk in powdered sugar until smooth.

Pour glaze over the treats in the pan, spreading to cover. Immediately sprinkle with bacon bits.

Let bars cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
